Dental Cleanings
Dental cleanings are the cornerstone of dental health, and we are often asked by patients if “just a cleaning” is needed. Updated information is now available from the ADA and dental education on the individualized prescription of these services. Cleaning is a patient determined process, as the needs of the teeth and gums are specific for each patient. At our practice, a prescribed cleaning schedule with radiographic documentation on a patient centered schedule is necessary for dental health based on factors such as diet, age, risk factors from health, and patient history with dental diseases. Our doctors can assess the needs of each patient individually and make the necessary schedule with our talented and experienced hygiene team.

We recommend having your teeth cleaned by professionally trained hygientists at least two times per year. The frequency of your visits to the dentist depend on your dental hygiene habits and overall health of your mouth. Many dental insurance policies provide coverage for two teeth cleanings per year. Check with your provider or give us a call at (310) 394-2796.
The average dental cleaning usually takes about one hour. Our team of expert hygienists are trained to ensure an efficient and safe cleaning process.
We recommend brushing your teeth as normal in the morning before your appointment. Be sure to bring necessary insurance information with you to your appointment, along with any dental questions you may have.
