“Bleaching” or whitening is completely safe and does not harm enamel when done correctly. Usually, teeth are whitened over about a two-week period, with daily application at home. While this can work great for many people, patients don’t often have the time to apply the gel every day and don’t get the results they are looking for. The take home kits also usually contain a lower percentage of whitening solution and require daily application for 1-4 hours.
ZOOM IN-OFFICE WHITENING allows teeth to be safely whitened in a single day. You can just sit back and relax while an LED light is used to activate the gel to help brighten stained teeth. You are sent home with “sensitivity gel” to keep you comfortable.

We recommend having your teeth cleaned by professionally trained hygienists two to four times per year. The frequency of your visits to the dentist depend on your dental hygiene habits and overall health of your mouth. Many dental insurance policies provide coverage for two teeth cleanings per year.
